Visiting any church for the first time can be somewhat difficult. We want to put you at ease at Tabernacle. On your first visit to TBC, you will be greeted by our friendly greeter at the main door and then one of our ushers will direct you to a Sunday school class or help you find a seat in the auditorium. We want you to receive a blessing from the helpful teaching and preaching of God’s Word, the soul-stirring music, and our friendly people.

What Can I Expect?
As you drive down Tabernacle Church Road from either end, you may wonder if you are lost, but then the 11 acre property presents itself to you in a “can’t-miss-it” way. The front entrance of the church is adjacent to the children’s playground on the right side of the church parking lot. Our Sunday school classes are age appropriated and you will find straight to the heart Bible teaching in every class. These classes are specifically designed to disciple the believer. During the morning service, you will enjoy the beautiful music of our choir and singing groups followed by a clear and challenging Bible message from Brother Mike, our pastor. This service is a little over one hour in length.
Where Do I Take My Children?
Our ushers will direct you to our church nurseries where a worker will be more than happy to help with your child. We have an infant nursery and a toddler nursery up to age 3. For children 4 years and older, there are Sunday school classes with a helpful, caring teacher ready to receive any first time guest. Our teaching is Bible-centered and child-oriented in fun and excitement. Our teen Sunday school class meets in the Livingston Center, the first building on the left as you enter the parking lot.
How Should I Dress?
There is not a specific dress code at Tabernacle Baptist Church for members or guests. Our church ministry leaders and most of our church family dress in a traditional “Sunday” Dress; however, our main goal is that you feel welcome on your visit to Tabernacle Baptist Church
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t encourage and invite people to come to TBC for their offering. It is our prayer that our service will be a gift to you. The important thing about being a guest at Tabernacle Baptist is that you are blessed and encouraged from having been with us.
If you have any other questions not mentioned above, do not hesitate to call or contact the pastor. Usually the church telephone voice mail will direct you to the pastor’s cell phone number. We pray that your visit to TBC will be an incredible experience. We want to do our best to serve you and show you the Spirit of Christ in every thing we do. We look forward to meeting you.
